Submersible or self-priming?
The difference between the two, and when to use each.
Submersible pump
It works directly inside the liquid, needs no priming, and suits wells, pits and construction sites.
Self-priming pump
It sits above the liquid and evacuates air from the suction line itself, so it is easy to reach and maintain.
When to choose submersible
When the liquid is deep, or when you need a pump that moves easily between sites.
When to choose self-priming
When you want the pump out of the liquid, or driven by a diesel engine on a trailer.
